The cakes have always been of a delicious high standard
that we keep going back for. The service has been friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable.
Cath's Cakes are also opened in St Mary's, so be sure to confirm with them that you have ordered through the
right cake shop if you are ringing for the Penrith store as Google maps takes you to their St Mary's shop (even when the Penrith search is entered)
I'm sure this could be rectified with more reviews for the Penrith shop.
The young lady who served us had difficulty with her manner of understanding the simple cake design and pick up date was incorrect. I didn't mind this but found it
rude that it was persued to the friend that I had pick the cake up for me. I did not understand this as it was rectified and settled upon the day before.
As much as this surprised me, I have put this experience down to a one off as Cath's Cakes Penrith
have always given five star service and I would still rate that and highly recommend them as all my past experiences have been to rave about and that I did. I have sent friends
to their shop and will continue to keep coming to them. Cath is lovely and passionate about what she does and she's still the best.
